This is a bit of the history I have about this family. Do an Ancestry.com search for George Mueller. He is listed several times. I got most of my information from others. Everything on Jacob, I have found on my own.
Jack Wiley is credited for some of the Miller information. He has posted all his information, but unfortunately he died a few months ago.
I saw somewhere that some of the Millers moved to Shelby Co., TX. I know there are numerous families from Bienville and Claiborne parishes who moved there after the Civil War. Sounds like a big wagon train left together traveling along the Dixie Overland Road.

1. GEORGE1 MUELLER/MILLER was born 1740 in Germany, and died March 17, 1812 in Warren County, KY1. He married MARY. She was born in Germany.

According to information received from Dolores Pringle, George Mueller came to America as a Hessian soldier during the French-Indian wars. George and wife Mary settled beyond the Great Indian boundary in Pendleton (Pickens County), SC. They lived along Rice's Creek and Golden Creek. He had other land grants but moved into the Indian lands where white settlers were not allowed.

In 1804 George and Mary went to Warren County, KY traveling with the Boren, Melton, Roe families among others. Their oldest son Issac remained in SC but the other went with them to KY. Morris, Jacob, and Michael moved to LA.

George MILLER was born about 1740 in Germany. He served in the military between 1756 and 1771 in South Carolina, US during the Cherokee Wars. He was a planter before 1812 in Kentucky, US. He signed a will on March 12, 1812 in Warren Co, KY, US, proved 27 Jun 1812. He died on March 17, 1812 in Warren Co, KY, US. He was granted land in Pickens Co, SC near Rice Creek in 1789 and near Golden Creek of 12 Mile River on 5 Nov 1792. He left Pendelton District, SC in 1804 and went to Warren Co, KY. Isaac, his oldest son stayed in SC.

He was married to Mary about 1764 in South Carolina, US. Mary died in Kentucky, US. George MILLER and Mary had the following children:

2. JACOB2 MILLER (GEORGE1 MUELLER/MILLER) was born Abt. 1790, and died Bef. 1850. He married RHODA WIMBERLY April 03, 1809 in Warren Co., KY, daughter of LEWIS WIMBERLY and MARTHA BARBEE. She was born Abt. 1791 in Bertie Co., NC2, and died Aft. 1864 in probably Bienville Parish, LA.

(p. 152) "Township 18, Range 6, was proclaimed in 1831, Chris. Koonce and Allen Martin buying that year. Jonathan Franklin bought on Section 14, in 1833, in November of that year. Rhoda and Jacob lived near her Wimberly relatives in Bienville Parish.

Looking for info on my GGG parents, Manning Miller b:abt 1812 KY, his parents were Morris Miller and Catherine Boren. Manning married Mary Elkins b:abt 1818, they had Isaac, Mary, Nancy, James, Margaret, Caroline, William, Wesley Jackson all were born in LA. The family then went to Cove, Polk Co AR and were found on the 1860 Polk census. They had John T and Joseph H after they came to AR.
