lkaumann, I applaud your efforts. Thanks for trying. But he links that you posted are great. From here it looks like I can get some really good info and document for "myself" the LAFITTE lineage. Like you, I think someone jumped the gun or should I say 'cannon' since we are talking pirates here. LOL I haven't worked on this line for very long and don't have the sources and the hard work that you have yet so I still can't say for sure, but.....
