John Cobb Norwood and Mary Elizabeth Norwood Norwood were my grandparents. Yes, Mary Elizabeth was a Norwood and married a Norwood. Their children were Jack (real name was Ed Foster Norwood) Willie C. Norwood, and my daddy - Burdette Barnes Norwood (born 4/15/1909 and died 2/18/1989); Johnnie Susan Norwood Shadoin, Alabama Norwood McDonald, and Minnie B. Norwood Kelley. John Cobb Norwood and Mary Elizabeth Norwood are buried at Old Union Cemetery near Benson,Louisiana -- about 12 miles south of Mansfield, LA. Other members of the family buried there are Jack; Willie, Burdette and his wife Isolene, Alabama and her husband Rayburn McDonald, and their children, Eldon Ray, and Vernon. I believe Johnnie Shadoin is buried in the Benson cemetery, just a few miles away. I believe Minnie B is buried in or near Conroe, TX.
