Shields, Stamboul Plantation and Roosevelt

Can anyone tell me the relationship between the old railroad stop of Stamboul, now called Roosevelt, and Stamboul Plantation--both between Lake Providence and Tallulah? My uncle and aunt, Harry and Jessie SHIELDS, owned Stamboul Plantation, probably from the 1940s to the 1970s; and their house dated back to before the Civil War. Harry was from Kentucky but was in East Carroll Parish by 1930 as a farm manager. He met and married Jessie WALL of Lake Providence. After their marriage they lived in Kentucky before purchasing Stamboul. This account of President Teddy ROOSEVELT's bear hunt in the area, www.rootsweb.com/~lamadiso/articles/roosevelt_moncrief.htm, refers to Stamboul and reports that Roosevelt called on Mr. and Mrs. Leo SHIELDS of Stamboul before continuing his journey. I know of no connection between the two SHIELDS families, but it's quite a coincidence. Where is Stamboul Plantation located in relationship to Roosevelt
