In 1904 and 1906 Sena Martin applied for a Civil War Widows Pension. Her husband James L Martin was son of Richard Martin, brother of George and Alexander and Richard Martin and Uncle of Zachary Taylor Martin, a witness to her application. James died of measles contracted during his service in Civil War in May 1865 three days after returning home.
In her application she said her husband was buried on Martin old place in one and in Martin Gravyard Ward 3 Franklin Parish in the other application.
Does anyone know anything of the Martin old place and probably private grave site(s) on it? is anyone researching these Martins?
