1. Obituary-The Daily Iberian, New Iberia, LA, 2 Oct 2003. "Funeral services for Mrs. Ledier "Coe" Leleux, 87, the former Lizzie Darby, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with the Rev. Steven LeBlanc officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.--10:00 p.m. Friday at David Funeral Home, with a 7 p.m. rosary, which will reopen at 8 a.m. until the time of services Saturday.
A native and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Leleux died at 9:44 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003 at Dauterive Hospital.
Mrs. Leleux was a caretaker to all.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Lee Leleux of New Iberia; two brothers, Jimmie and Francis Earl Darby, both of New Iberia; two sisters, Helen Darby Courrege of New Iberia and Mildred Darby Myers of Opelousas; two grandsons, Shane Christopher Leleux and his wife, Bridget Oliva Leleux of New Iberia and Coe Joseph Leleux and his wife, Audrey Dore Leleux of Suprise, Ariz.; one great-grandson, Casey Coe Leleux of Suprise, Ariz.; and four great-grandaughters, Mandee Elizabeth Leleux of Suprise, Ariz., Morgann Elizabeth, Kristynn Lee, and Reagann Jeannee Leleux. all of New Iberia.
Mrs. Leleux was preceded in death by her husband, Ledier "Coe" Leleux; her father, St. Mark Darby, Sr.; her mother, Carrie Stevens Darby; five sisters, Alice Darby Bourgeois, Jessie Darby Cole, Louise Darby Morrison, Annie Lee Darby Thibodeaux, and Nellie Darby Mouret; and three brothers, Monroe Darby, Clarence Darby and St. Mark Darby, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jack Courrege, Jeff Lesemann, Shane Christopher and Coe Joseph Leleux, David Bienemann, and Douglas Oliva.
