Rachel Wrizopa "Rispy" Southern was born between 1811-1812 in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana, died after 1870, married Robert Womack on Nov. 18, 1830 in Copiah Co., Mississippi. Robert was born 1808, died July 8, 1865 in LA. He was the son of Richard Womack and Martha (unknown). Wrizopa was the daughter of Samuel Southern b 1765 Greenville Co., SC, d 1850 Copiah Co., Mississippi and Keziah (last name unknown) b in SC.

Wrizopa and Robert Womack moved to Louisiana between 1840-1850. They bought land in Bienville Parish, LA which they sold in 1856 when they moved to Winn Parish, LA. They had the following children: Richard, Riley W., Robert, Daniel, Rebecca, William, Abraham W., Mary A., Louisa, and Sarah.
