I think you will be happy with your purchase. I have family in Winn, LaSalle, Catahoula, Franklin, Richland Parishes. While I was not lucky enough to find "my direct" lines in the book, it is a great read and helps with the background of the area. Plus there is always the hope of being led to another name and it is in the book! My surnames are Gilmore, Keen, Cockerham and Garner.
