My mother was born as Ollie Zada Hodges in a place called
Old Field somewhere in Livingston Parish. She had three brothers named Eugene (Gene), William (Bill), and John D.
Her two sisters were named Lizzie (assume Elizabeth was
her given name) and Louise.
I'm trying to locate information about my both Mother's father
(last name Hodges) and about her Mother, Sarah Blount.
Any information about any of the above would be greatly
appreciated. I never met my maternal Grandfather, Mr. Hodges, so I have no information at all.
In addition, does anyone know where "Old Field" in Livingston was located.
