My son's great-great-great grandmother was Nell Irma THOMPSON, who was born in Morehouse Parish on 11 Jan 1893. From the 1910 Census I found out that her mother was named Rosa, and from the 1880 and 1900 Censuses I found out her father's name was Bryant Whit THOMPSON. I found a marriage for Bryant Whit THOMPSON & Rosa JOHNSON on 30 Oct 1877 in Morehouse Parish in Ancestry.com's database "Louisiana Marriages, 1718-1925".
