I'm looking for information about Natchitoches and its history as I try to put togetehr a biography for my great-grandmother, Cornelia Jane Vance who was born there in 1880. Her father was Joseph Vance and her mother was Elizabeth Noling. The family moved to Texas and ended up in Millican, Texas outside of Navasota. I am just tryingto find more information and would apreciate any help you may provide, even just telling me more about the town itself. Thanks.
