I am trying to research our family roots ..... the last Bonnette link to me I can get is my great-great granparents, James N. ( Bonnette(e), married to Harriet Barr in 1878. I know there were sons named Jacob (Jake) (married Lou), James Andrew b.3/11/1889 or 90 d. 6/6/1962 (married Nora Mae Horn) & John/Jimmy who died. There is also a daughter named Alice b. 6/1880 d. 1963) who married James W. Cotton. There's another wife in there somewhere to James N., as Alice & Jake are James A.'s half-siblings.

Was told by my great-aunt that there is a cemetery in Jackson Parish or west Ouachita Parish with several Bonnett/Bonnettes buried there - any insight there from y'all?
