My great grandmother husband was Willis Jason, son of Elias Jason. Elias and his wife Menervy had several children. I found records that Elias' son Elias Jr died after consuming to much alcohol. I also found information that Elias was a constable in Plaquemines Parish. Is this the same Elias Jason? My family is from the Ironton-Mytrle Rove area. Can anyone tell me what happed to the white families who lived in Ironton?
