Francis Marion Dewil married my Great Grandmother, Martha Elizabeth Perkins (1864-1955). She gave birth to 8 children - all but 2 died in infancy (Charlie, Edward and J.W. plus 3 other infants - all are buried in the Dewil Cemetary. The oldest child and daughter, Eugenia A. Dewil married William Lafayette Wilkinson and the last child and youngest daughter, Frances Clemmie Dewil married Robert Raymond Ryan. Lula Beatrice Dewil was an adopted daughter. Eugenia's youngest son, and my father, Courtland E. Wilkinson along with his wife Margaret, my mother, is also buried in the Dewil cemetery between the graves of Martha and Francis Dewil.
