HI, I have a picture of Josie, I think. Josie was married to Uncle Felix [Zenneman] Walker. Josie was the daughter of George Washington Wren and Hattie Leon Thomas, daughter of William Taylor Thomas and Malissa Alabama Pickett. Hattie's sister, Malissa [Melissa] California Thomas first married a Pickett, I think, and then married my grandfather, Zara Zimmerman Thomas. William Taylor Thomas was the son of William Phillip Thomas and Axie Stringer. Malissa Alabama Pickett was the daughter of Hosier Pickett and MaryAnn Mercer. Hosey Wren was named for Hosier Pickett, I understand. The name "Stringer" was misspelled in one of the wills as "Stranger." I saw the "Zenneman" in one of the trees, and I wondered if that was correct. I have also seen my grandfather Zara Zimmerman Thomas' name written that way in other's records: it is incorrect.
