A retired nurse and retired owner of Granny's Ceramic Shop, she died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at 4 a.m. at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She was 97 and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, March 13, with family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Public visiting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with service to follow at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Ed Jenkins. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James and Nell Hardison; grandchildren, Frank and Paula Hardison, Sue and Bobby Breau, Charlotte Hardison, Laurie Hardison, James R. Hardison and Penny and John Mitchell; 12 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Special mention to niece, Billie Marie Hodges. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Williams; son, Charles R. Hardison; parents, Martin and Lena Shoemaker; grandson, Charles H. Hardison; three sisters and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Frank Hardison, Randy Hardison, Ray Hardison, Brock Hardison, Billy Hardison and John Mitchell. Honorary pallbearer is Jarod Hardison.
