Does anyone have relatives with last name of Bruce? Looking for a Jeff Bruce, age 23 in 1900 and was located in Richland Parish in 1900, 1920 & 1930. Lived in Ward 3 believed to be in the Alto, LA area. His wife was named something like Joanna or Johanna, and had a daugther named Viola Bruce, a son named Woodrow Bruce and a daughter named Inez or Ivana?Bruce. He was born in abt. 1887 in Louisiana as well as his parents according to censuses. Reported to be related to Jones family.

He is listed in one census as William J. Bruce. His full name probably is William Jefferson (or Jeffrey) Bruce.
