The community you are looking for was not an incorporated town. It was simply an area. The area took its name from Bayou San Patricio or as the locals called it, "Pat Reece Creek." The bayou/creek originates in De Soto Parish and flows across HWY 171 just south of Converse, Louisiana. Approximately two miles west of HWY 171 stands the San Patricio Catholic Church, a small wood frame building. The general area around the church is sometimes referred to as the Bayou San Patricio Community, though you would be hard put to find a local who would refer to it as such. After the bayou/creek passes near the church, it continues generally west-southwest until it flows into Toledo Bend Lake.
