She said that she was married to Anthony Sambola on Apr. 03, 1880. But then they had a daughter "Louise" Antonia Sambola who was born on Dec. 1871. I could not find her birthrecord, though. She married Joseph Barry and Mrs Antonia Barry died on Dec. 25, 1945.

In the 1900 census was Caroline Ferrarie, in the household of Gertrude and Antonio Sambola. She was Gertude's mother.

If I am not mistaken, then this is Caroline Flasack who married on May 12, 1859 Joseph Caldos "Ferrare".

Caroline Flasack was born here at my place in Germany and she emigrated with her parents and siblings to New Orleans. Caroline had an illegitmate daugter Gertrude Flasack. Name of father is unknown.

Now I wonder where this last name Meyer comes from.
Was that the last name of Gertrude's father or was ahe married before to a Mr Meyer.
Meyer is also a very vommon name at the place where Gertrude and Caroline were born.
