Thanks , I have have some of this info but am always searching and am glad to get backup sources and additional confirmation before I move on to the next generation. We have a lead on William Hardy's father as James Hensley Howard but can't document it yet. He was supposedly from Alabama. If you ever see anything that leads to William Hardy's parents, we would love to hear from you. We do have a photo of Mary and William H. Howard. I'll check to see if it is the same.
