Hello, I am a descendant of Mino Juge (Judge) of Ville Platte, LA (1898). He and his wife (Armaunce Ecby)migrated to Crosby, Texas where he remained until his death in 1977. Mino's father was Adrien Juge, married to Mary Guillory. Mino had a brother (Joseph married to Artelia) and sister (Mary). Mino is listed as Mulatto on the census and octoroon on his birth certificate.

The census shows residences in St. Landry 1920, & Barrett Station-Crosby, TX 1930. The name is misspelled on the census as Jenge.

According to family stories, Adrien's family was from Bordeaux, France. He supposedly had a sister who was married to a plantation owner in Louisiana.

It is possible that Mary Guillory's parents were from the Caribbean.

Does anyone have information on Adrien's parents?

What about the siblings of Mino? Joseph's daughter is a nun who resides in LA. Her name is Sister Mary Aquinas or Blanche Judge.
