Last rites were conducted by the Rev. Muril Platt, Baptist Minister, for W.M. Williams, 64, who died at his home near Oak Grove Sunday following a long illness, Monday afternoon at the Williams residence on Bayou Macon front.
Burial was in Oak Grove cemetery with Walters-Dalrymple Funeral home in charge.
Active pallbearers were: William Shoemaker, Jimmie Summerlin, A.B. Steward, Bennie Lee Shoemaker, Robert Smith and Luther Brown.
His survivors include his wife, Carrie Mae Williams; five daughters, Mrs. Floyd Beck, Misses Lottie, Gertrude, Helen and Alice Williams, all of near Oak Grove; five sons, James, W.L., Richard, Thomas Roy and Herbert Williams, all of near Oak Grove; three sisters and four grandchildren.
