I hope someone can help me, I'm at the end. My oldest Aunt told me that she has always heard they were from the Norwood area but I can't find the STAFFORDs there. I'm hunting for a Robert C. STAFFORD born 12/22/1856 (1890 Ascension Parish Census shows 1862), I don't know his father or mother. Robert married Celestine SEVARIO in abt. 1882 and is buried in Ascension Parish.
