oops, my mistake. I thought your original post mentioned a women named Catherine or Matilda Ann & that you were looking for a marriage of their son in hopes of obtaining her maiden name. But, that was months ago so, I'm sure you found more since then.
Ancestry has a lot of records for Louisiana....I've found plenty of birth & marriages here.(unfortunately my subscription just expired or I'd help you look).There are several free sites out there with NY records. Have you tried familysearch.org ? They have NY & NJ records.
