I have searching Clara Bowen on the 1870 Census in Waterville, and I can't find her on any other census even though that census had her being born in Maine. She was about 16 years old and work as a domestic in a boarding house. Also I could not find any Bowen in Waterville at that time in 1870.
Any information at all would be helpful. Would there be a marriage license for her in Waterville, or another Bowen maybe who was born in New Brunswick, Canada.
