Hoping someone can help identify Elizabeth ---, wife of John Burns, living in Waldoboro, ME at the time of the 1860 and 1870 Census. She was born either ca. 1820 or ca. 1830.

This John Burns was born ca. 1803, making him much older than Elizabeth. He reportedly died in or shortly after 1880. I can not find the family after 1870.

There is a further mystery as to some of the children. John was previously married to a woman named Aseneth, his wife at the time of the 1850 Census, and with whom he had several children. She died reportedly in 1853. The problem arises with three children found in the 1860 Census - Jeremiah, Warren and Laura Burns - all old enough to be living at the time of the 1850 Census but not enumerated with John Burns' family in that census. Strange.

Anyway, for now my primary interest is in identifying Elizabeth maiden name and parents, if possible. Thanks.
