Greetings Cookie,

I am looking for the parents of one Edgar ( William ) perhaps not Edgar.. he is a bit of a mystery.. not sure if he was adopted by a Mc Clellan or Mc Lellen in the early 1800's ,, we show he was b. 1825 in England and came to USA as young man .. we are not sure who his adopted family was . thinking it may have been Gorham Maine .

His father was a Sea Captn .. as was Edgar .. he shows up as Edgar even though is father called him father William. .so I am thinking perhaps his adopted Mc Clellan or Mc Lellen father may have been a William.. just a shot in the dark on this one.
