I'm seeking information on the descendents and family of PATRICK SULLIVAN, born in Ireland in Feb 1816, migrated to the US in 1837, settled in Bangor by 1850, perhaps 1840, and died in Bangor after 1900, at 84-plus years of age. I am pasting all relevant census data from 1840 to 1900 below.
I'm also wondering about the part of town described in this census data, and where else I might find additional information. Where is "Kenduseag Stream"? The "West Side"? "Emerson Street"? "Buck" / "Bach" Street? Do these places even exist anymore? If so, or if not, what are or what were they like?
If you know anything about this Sullivan family of Bangor, or the neighborhood they lived in, please be in touch. I read some of the other postings on Sullivans of Bangor, I'm not sure if it's the same family but you can probably tell from all the data below. Many thanks - gracias y paz a todos -- MJS
