I just came across this post by accident...
My name is Charlie, I'm Bert Ogden's grandson mentioned above. I was named for my dad's uncle Charlie that was killed during the Korean War. I believe Betty was referring to my website above: http://ogden-cronin.com
I haven't done much research since I last was in contact with her.
However, yesterday I connected with one of Dorothy's daughters who was able to name the siblings in the 1955 family photo that I have on my Ancestery.com tree: http://sharing.ancestry.com/1552963?h=404e3a
I too have (or had) a copy of James and Amelia's death records which clearly state where they were to be buried. However, I've been to the Locust Grove cemetery in Hampden, ME and did not find any Ogdens. One of Cora May's grand-daughters lived nearby in Bangor and also looked all over for it without success. I also contacted the cemetery superintendent at Locust Grove and got a letter stating that there is no record of James or Amelia Ogden being buried there. Strange.
I haven't been able to discover the grand-parents of James or Amelia either. Someone on the old GenForum site was adamant that Jesse's father was John Fawcett Ogden (and I see many trees on Ancestry have that as well) however, I haven't found any proof of that... and I'm not convinced that the connection even makes sense.
I have Charlie's wife Shirley's last name listed as Babcock, but unfortunately I didn't add a source! I believe it was only by word of mouth - I know I never found any document proving it.
I put a photo of Charlie's grave stone here: http://www.fold3.com/page/85125007_charles_a_ogden/
And the other day I found a copy of the application for the grave stone on Ancestry - someone wrote "Co B" next to his unit designation which I haven't seen anywhere else.
