We are directly descended from Marc Antoine LaPierre dit LaJeunesse through Lewis and Sophia Warren Lisherness who settled in North New Portland, Maine. According to the " A History of New Portlands in Maine" Sophia was the niece of General John Warren, and they lived in Montrilles, Windsor and Vassalboro, Maine until they moved with six of their eleven children to Lexington and settled on a farm on the east side and near the head of Hancock Pond. Five children were born in the new home; three died in infancy and two grew to manhood. Lewis continued farming as long as age and health permitted, after which time he and his wife made their home with their son Mark Anthony and a daughter Lydia who married Robert Newcomb. They are both buried in the cemetery in the North Village." Their children as as follows: Samuel (1809), Lydia B. (1811, Mark A. L. (1813) Lewis Jr. (1815), Charles R. (1818), George (1821), William (1823) Our connection. Sophia (1825), and Waterman R. (1831. I have more and also pictures of some grave stones...I have names of Samuel's family members and spouses.
