I am researching Patrick Powers too. Im descended from his son Michael Powers, who married a Louisa Lovejoy.
I have little information on the Powers branch of the family, but will share whatever I have.

I have Patricks wifes (sorry about the punctuation folks, for some reason this particular site isnt allowing appostrophes) anyway her name was Hannah Reed, I dont know for sure if that is her actual maiden name, since I found it on Rootsweb somewhere, and put it down as a possibility.
