in the early-mid 1800's a large number of Marbleheaders (Massachussetts) were given land in Me. in a town called New Marblehead. One of my ancestors went there to homestead. The town was later renamed to Windham, Me. To the best of my knowledge this could be on of/or the major links to the Caswell name in Me. Caswells first came to the northern colonies at Marblehead as Puritains though I believe there is an earlier family in virginia by a few years.
