You and everyone else is asking the same question. My tree Bond-Wheeler connection is what I have found out. I am not saying it is all correct. I used a book that was published in 1972 by Lorene Bond Prewitt, her grandmother was the Wheeler. Louella Wheeler. Lorene's ggparents were Elihu and Mary E. Johnson Wheeler. I will send you a copy of this if I can find it in my computer. It has been a while since I have used it. About the only way we can figure Eliphalet's parentage is to look at the birthdates of everyone and the places where they were. I think at one time someone said that most of the Maine records were burned or destroyed. Send me your email address and I will email it to you. ptblcook@aol.com
