Sagadahoc County / Pemaquid: Stevens crossing:

My ancestor, Katherine Stevens, b. 1678, dau/of Thomas Stevens and Merry Caswell of Pemaquid, was captured (with John Stevens, a boy, and Samuel Stevens) by Abenaki Indians 5 Aug 1689 and carried off to Canada where she was later married to Jacques Pacquet 1 Aug 1697 at Quebec. I am looking for information regarding her parents who lived at the crossing toward the north end of the Stevens river; at least a Thomas Stevens (perhaps her grandfather, age 80, in 1685) lived there. A Thomas Stevens was at Pemaquid in 1665, and probably settled there (came from ?) prior to that date. Would you have any information re Katherine's parents, etc.? Did they come directly from England to Maine? Are there any known ancestors, etc.?
