Court Records, 1930s, LEWIS family... question about this

I have a question more than anything...

Would anyone know if there would be court records exhisting for a case where a mother requests the state to take her children away from her? This happened in my family about 1935, family lived in North Anson but I'm guessing they may have gone to Skowhegan for court.

If you can shed light on where the court session may have happened and whether records such as these might exhist, please educate me. (I am planning a trip to ME this summer and I'm trying to get a research plan made so I can make the most of the time I will have.) Thank you for your assistance and time.
