Can anyone help with information about this family. I have a transcription of a family letter that indicates that Thomas Cook had 3 sons (Amos the eldest) and 3 daughters. Apparenly Amos left about 1836 for the "west". There is no indication any other members of his family migrated with him to Illinois and then on to Oregon. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Mary Frances Scott is d/o John Tucker Scott (b. KY) and Ann Roelofson (b. KY). The John Tucker Scott migrated from central IL to OR in 1852. I have much information on this line, but nothing on the COOK line.
