Re: Hall's of Freedom-Montville-Knox
Lisa,
By checking names of persons found in 1820 Brooks, I'm led back to 1810 Washington, Hancock, Maine as the same location. Brooks formed in 1817. Present as the only Hall in both 1810 and 1820 in these locations is a Shadrack Hall, brother of Enoch Hall and Nathan Hall. Enoch had a son Winslow. Enoch was from the Falmouth area. That is near Harpswell, and might connect with either the Isaac Hall or Ebenezer Hall lines. Nathan was born in Windham, ME in 1774. Shadrack was born in 1779, and was married to Sarah Roberts. He moved to Brooks in 1802 from Buckfield, Maine. He died in Brooks in 1832.
