Was Margaret STEWART the first wife of Doctor Richard MARRIOTT?

Surnames: MARRIOTT, STEWART
On 9 January 1827 Doctor Richard MARRIOTT (born 1790) married Margaret STEWART (born 1800) in Anne Arundel County. Was this her first marriage? Was this his first marriage? In the 1850 Anne Arundel census 18 year old Anne STEWART is living with them. I am trying to find out how Anne is connected to them. Thanks for any help.
