Elizabeth, 8 Aug. 1710, recorded 14 Sep. 1710, forty acres of "Ridgley's," on north side of South River in Hogg Neck, patented 18 May 1679 to William RIDGLY, and adj. fifty acres of "Vennals Inheritance," granted to John VENNELS on north side of South R., fifty acres of which was sold to John BARBER & by him to William RIDGLY.
[Many deeds to Amos GARRETT were actually mortgages.]
