This is from the ARchdiocese of Baltimore. The archivist should beable to help you. In the 19th century, people went to national parishes--those reflecting their heritage. St Michael's on Wolfe Street wasa German parish, whereas St. Patrick's was an Irish parish. The archivist could lead you to the possibilities by neighborhood and ethhnicity.



Purpose: To catalog, preserve, and make available the history of the Archdiocese.
