Looking for relations of 4th great-grandparents from Calvert County Maryland near Lusby, MD. George Harten and his wife was Lizzie Elliot. In our family, we have pictures of their children: Artie Harten, Margorie Jaynes, Jaz Harten, Edye Crouck, Andy Harten, Herm Harten and Ben Harten.
They were farmers and oystermen in the Chesapeake Bay area after the Civil War sometime. Also, older family members knew that George Harten had brothers Sam and John Harten living in the same area and a sister Jenny who moved to Philadelphia.
Ben Harten married Kate Sweeny and lived in Baltimore. All his family are living around Baltimore area.
