Her parents were Jesse Bowen, b. 1853, d. 1882, m. 1880
Orris Howard Martin, b. 1854 (Baltimore), d. 1932 (DC), dau. of Elijah Martin & Ann Marie Tindle

Jesse Bowen's parents were Benjamin Isaac Bowen, b. 1828, d. 1901, m. 1852 and Mary Ann Williams, b. 1835, d. 1893, dau of James Williams & Elizabeth.

Benjamin Isaac Bowen, Capt., was the son of Jesse Bowen b. 1791, d. 1828 (Calvert Co. - not the one relocated to OH), m. 1810 and Elizabeth Dockett Simmons, d. 1842 and dau. of John Wright Simmons & Sarah (?Wright).
