Am researching my Wilson family from immigrant James Wilson (MD from 1651? Calvert County to 1930's Alleghany County). Will be doing an onsite visit to identified tracts in October which 3-4 generations of Wilson's lived upon between 1651 and 1783. Does anyone know if there exists a LAND PLAT MAP for the earliest Calvert patents before and shortly after 1654 that I could refer to? Land records give neighboring named tracts and owners but it is hard to put this jigsaw puzzle together. Most interested in "Forked Neck" in Leonards Creed Hundred; "George's Desire" in Hunting Creek Hundred; "Kidds Level" in Hunting Creek Hundred; "Newington" in Lyons Creek Hundred; "Ridge" in Lyons Creek Hundred; "Islington" in Lyons Creek Hundred; "Angles" in Lyons Creek Hundred. Would greatly appreciate any local resources!
