I descend from Mary B Williamson Hignutt. Mary was married to Joseph Burton Hignutt b 2 Feb 1856 in DE d 8 Dec 1933 in DE. They lived in the Adamsville or American Corners areas and other areas in DE later in life.

Some people show her as Mary A Hignutt, but her death certificate shows the A has been changed to a B. She was born 12 Jul 1855 in MD and died 5 Oct 1929 in Delaware. The informant on the certificate is a Ruth E Stokes of Greenwood, DE. Mary's parents are shown as James Williamson and Ada Smith.

I am trying to find information on Mary's parents. I have wondered if somehow Adah Williamson born 1835 is also Ada Smith, but other researchers show Adah (Ader) (Adie) as the daughter of Keziah Williamson, and I find no "Smith" connection, unless Ada's biological father may have been a Smith?.... But as far as I know Keziah Williamson had many children by Edward Andrew and was never married?
