Rudolph Schumacher b/ 1693 in Alsace, Germany immigrated to this country in 1752, Buried in frederick county Maryland. Listed as tax free August 20, 1754 being around age sixty. By 1769 he is in Lovettsville area Loudoun County VA with sons? Still alive there in 1767. In 1765 his son Bartholomew SHOEMAKER moved back to frederick County MD and purchased 125 acre tract called New Germania. In 1786 they moved to Washington County PA. They were members of the reformed Church. Does anyone have any information about this line.
