Lucretia STOCKETT, age 77, was listed in the 1850 census of Savage, Howard District of AA County, MD. She was in the Household of Joseph and Rebecca WILLIAMS(age 46). Among the others in the household were "Mag" WILLIAMS (age 7) and John M. WILLIAMS (age 23).

Of these people, only John can be found in the 1860 Census (in Baltimore County). In the 1870 Census of Ward 18 of Baltimore County, Rebecca WILLIAMS (age 71) and Margaret WILLIAMS (age 23) are listed in the household of Joseph T. STOCKETT. The ages don't quite match, but the 1850 Census's age for John M. WILLIAMS is wrong; it should have been 20 or 21.

The above strongly suggests that Rebecca's maiden name was STOCKETT.

I would appreciate any information on Lucretia STOCKETT or Rebecca WILLIAMS.
