Surnames: William Huyberth, Elizabeth Huyberth, William Moffett
I am researching HUYBERTH and MOFFETT in Kent, Maryland.
I understand that HUYBERTH might not be a last name, but it means "son of".
Does anyone know if that was a changed version of the last name for William Huyberth and if not where he came from in The Netherlands?
Also I am trying to find what part of Scotland that William MOFFETT came from.
