Thank you, good information for ruling out that particular John Moore as Zebulon's father.

I have found a couple more pieces of information about a Zebulon Moore in the area (hopefully they are all one and the same at this time).

- In Nov 1751 George Gordon Esq. recorded supersedeas against Zebulon Moore, John Moore and Daniel Moore for 66 lbs. tobacco plus costs. (Frederick Co. MD Land Records, Abstracts of Liber B, p. 56.)

- c. 1756 A list of accounts due to Mr. Hugh Parker dec'd filed in Frederick Co. [it is not dated but is in with those in 1756] names listed include: Zebulon Moore, John Moore, [Frederick Co. MD Inventory Book 1A p. 271]

Just to clarify, I believe that this Upper Potomac Maryland Zebulon Moore migrated to Cumberland County, Pennsylvania in the late 1760's. (not the other way around)

Cumberland County, PA becomes Bedford and then Huntingdon while he resides there until the early 1790's, when he migrates to Kentucky.
