It's been awhile since I've visited the family here, but I'm quite sure your Cornelius is a brother of my Martha A. Watson HAIL..living 2 doors from him in Pulaski Co. on the 1850. THis family drives me insane trying to get one simple lead. On the 1850 there is a Harriett Ray in the Watson Household, 32 years of age born in Maryland, so I believe this is most likely another sibling of Cornelius and Martha's, as well as the duaghter Rachel 17 born in KY. I wish I could trace her as well. THen there is a Malinda Foster in the household with a baby. Anyways, this Harriett RAY is so interesting because of your Cornelius's daughter Harriett marrying Benjamin Ray. On the 1850 Benjamin is 2 households away from Elizabeth and Martha, Rachel. etc. Also, there is a George Watson b. 1850 Missouri, in Butte Co. California with a family. Butte Co. is where Martha Watson and her Hail clan moved to. I can't locate George, his wife, or the 3 chilren after 1880 though, another dead end....John Blair
