After serving in the War of 1812, Warren sold the property he inherited in Queen Anne's County, MD and moved to Warren County, OH. He married Sarah Hormell there in 1819. They had at least one child, Sarah Burk, and moved to St. Joseph Co., Indiana. There may also have been a son named John G. Burk.
Sarah Burk married Thomas Jefferson Garoutte in 1850 in St. Joseph Co., IN.
